Jim Gray is a renowned fly fisherman and outdoorsman in the central Texas fly fishing community and has hosted multiple events here at River and Ranch Provisions. These events have ranged from a fly fishing the Llano river tutorial to a white bass fly fishing presentation. We had the honor of hosting Barbara Fausti from Fausti earlier this year! Barbara is one of three sisters who own and run Fausti, an Italian shotgun company who makes some of the best shotguns on the market. Next time Barabra’s in town you definitely don’t want to miss it. Most recently we had the honor of hosting Aaron Reed. Author of the book Fly Fishing Central Texas, an extensive guide to fly fishing the rivers and lakes of Central Texas, Aaron Reed hosted an event here at River and Ranch Provisions and gave a great presentation about the story behind his book as well as how to apply it on your next fishing adventure!
